Losing Myron is huge, i dont care what anyone says.
He is the most talented kid out there. PV has talent, and can still contend, but PV will be missing a lot without him.
He's a good player no doubt, but one player does not a team make. I can think of a handful of players that I'd rather have on my squad than him.
The word is he threw a bottle at a moving vehicle and was charged with a felony and until this is resolved he is not on the team. Anyway he is a talented football player and a big loss. PV has some talent, but have not been able to put it all together this year so far. Reality is they are 2 and 4, so I cannot see it getting any worse just because he is not there, I could be wrong and i hope I am not.
I am sure he is a good kid and sometimes young kids do not realize the consequences of what they do at the time until it happens.
PV lost games with him, and if he causes dissension, then they will be better off. Just my take on things.
Throwing something at a car is a felony?
That does not sound right at all.
And there is ZERO word that the player caused dissention on the team. To mention that does more harm than good, especially when you have no evidence to back that up.
And posters saying taht there are handfuls of kids you'd rather have? Why?
There are maybe 3-4 kids in the LPD as talented or more talented than him, that's it.
I dont know where you guys get all this; I've never heard anything to suggest he is not a team player or good for a team. If you'd rather have mediocre players instead of good ones, thats fine, thast your stupidity.
I've always heard he's a really good kid. So I'd never say anything like some have here in the later part of this thread. On the field though, he's never really impressed me much with his play. He looks great but so far from what I've seen the action doesn't match the body.
IMO, regardless of a player's ability, if he is detrimental to the team then the team is better off without him. PV's not lost a game to a team they should have beaten. Pinkston is a good player, but I really don't think he is anymore important to the team than any of the other starters are. I don't think PV gets any better with his departure, but I don't think they get any worse either. With or without him, I still think they end up 5-5. If he was kicked off the team for more than what has reported on here, then that, combined with Phil's return to a running attack are signs that 1)-Phil has decided to take control of the team's discipline again and 2)-Phil has come back to his senses. Both bode well for the future of the football program at PV IMO.
I have NEVER EVER heard one bad word about the player. I know him, and he is a good kid.
beast there is ZERO word that he was not a good teammate or not good for the team.
Lung, he's been injured almost all this year, never truly being 100%. His raw athleticism and power were shown more his soph. and jr. year. He is just as good on defense as offense, people sometimes overlook that. As an OLB, he was a monster.
I am not saying PV's season is done or anything like that, but if this is true, its a huge loss.
I agree, everything I had heard about him was positive and as far as RBs go I think if I were starting a team Miles would be my 1st chooise but he would be a solid #2
Not haveing him WILL hurt PV there is no way aroud that...before hearing this news I was giveing PV a slight advantage in there game vs Kelly now I am thinking Kelly has the advantage
